About Marina Magazine

Marina Magazine is a small, self-running study site for recreational boaters: four illustrated issues on the Rules of the Road and U.S. buoyage, with drill decks and a private logbook.

Who writes it, and how

The issues and cards were drafted with AI assistance (Claude, by Anthropic) for WeldonPC and checked against the rule text in the eCFR (33 CFR Part 83, the Inland Navigation Rules, and 33 CFR Part 62, the U.S. Aids to Navigation System) on 9 October 2026. That check was made by the same AI tool; the content has not yet been reviewed by a person. Every card names the rule it rests on. Nothing on the site is generated while you use it, and the site does not publish news or reporting.

Spotted something wrong? The rule text wins; please tell WeldonPC through weldonpc.com/contact.

Independent

Marina Magazine is not part of, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Coast Guard, NASBLA or any state boating agency. It is built and run by WeldonPC, a computer services company in Ohio. Its public pages carry one banner ad from AdEngine, the small ad network run by WeldonPC, which sets no cookies; logbook pages carry none.
